Google Keep Helps Forget Wunderlist or Evernote Even Exist.
Overall Satisfaction with Google Keep
Google Keep has been used exclusively by myself. I started using the software as I have other Google products and decided to test it out. It has great functionality for simple check box notes, general text notes, etc. It also has a great voice to text transcription service that utilizes Google Assistants speech recognition which is effortlessly top notch.
Pros
- Check box style checklists.
- General notes keeping app.
Cons
- The text box check list style notes only allow one indent and it would be useful to allow at least 1 more indent(2 total).
- More robust font changes.
- Great for work objectives.
- Great for personal life objectives since you can create multiple notes, color code them.
- Evernote and Wunderlist
I believe Google Keep does a great job stacked up against the other competitors. Evernote has a bit more synchronicity between other software and a very strong OCR technology but Google Keep holds its own as a free, easy-to-use note-taking app. I have used all three of these extensively and found the simplicity of Google Keep is easy to use for all purposes.
