Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets
We have a k-12 school. We use Google Sheets for logging student information, master schedule, inputting grades and narratives for each quarter, shared document format for collaborative projects between staff/teachers. I appreciate that projects and documents can be shared. Multiple tabs are excellent for organzation.
Pros
- multiple tabs
- share-able for collaboration
- owner can choose editing permissions
- user friendly
Cons
- I feel like there are formulas and functions that could be useful if I knew about them or they were more simplified.
- This is an excellent product that is FREE.
- Absolutely comparable, for a better price, than Microsoft product.
For my usage, I find these two products absolutely equivalent for personal use. Google Sheets has an advantage if you want cooperative sharing capabilities. Google Sheets is especially useful if you already rely heavily on the other google products and email system.
