Overall Satisfaction with Google Slides

We use Google Slides in my department to present data and metrics, provide status reports, and track our projects. While Slides can do the job, it could be more intuitive and functional for manipulating slide content.

Pros

  • Slides integrates with GSuite well.
  • Connecting charts and tables from sheets, as well as updating them when changes are made to the source.
  • Offers a variety of templates.

Cons

  • When using AI to beautify, it's nearly impossible to maintain a consistent theme across slides.
  • When using AI to beautify slides, charts are turned into images with incorrect data that cannot be adjusted.
  • Slides has been a very seamless change from Microsoft.
Google Slides is a very good tool, I just see opportunities for functional improvements to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.
Slides works very similarly to Microsoft Powerpoint, though I would say it feels seamless to integrate with other Google products.

Slides is a great tool to share information with peers and for presenting and facilitating in-person, online, and hybrid meetings. Since it is not an interactive tool, I would not recommend Slides for gathering feedback or group activities.
