Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being phased out within the entire company in order to use a different platform. It addressed the need for screen sharing and conference calling with external people. It also provided the ability for our team to gather weekly to discuss safety.

Pros and Cons

Provided a distinct meeting code to use.
Easy to control screen sharing/hands off.
Easy for administration to set up meetings for a team.

The ability to pass off "leadership" of the meeting would be helpful.
Signing out when using the app should be more intuitive.

Return on Investment

It could sometimes slow down our meetings if something went wrong with meeting set up.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom

GoTo Meeting has better quality audio and video than Zoom, and it seems more secure. Whereas, Zoom seems a bit insecure.

GoTo Meeting gets the job done when it comes to conference calls. You are able to join people from different places with relative ease, and share the screen when needed. You can also remote onto others' screens to "take over" their screen and manipulate it so that you can help out. It is not appropriate for larger, company-wide meetings as there is a limit of callers.
