Overall Satisfaction with Gumlet

We use Gumlet to host training videos for corporate clients and individual on our Wordpress-based LMS.
  • extremely fast delivery of videos
  • excellent player that can be branded using our logo and brand colours
  • fast processing of uploads
  • seamless import from our previous video host, Vimeo
  • calls to action on video player
  • video chapters
  • password protection for videos
  • limit sites on which videos can be embedded
  • video management in backend could be improved
  • quality of automatically generated subtitles isn't great
  • wordpress plugin for videos would be helpful

  • speed - playback begins instantly
  • easy import of existing videos from Vimeo using API
  • processing speed
  • It is considerably cheaper than the alternatives
  • it has saved us a lot of time by allowing us to import directly from Google Drive

We have found the Gumlet viewer experience to be better because

Very well-suited for delivering corporate training videos. The quality adjust automatically based on the connection and videos begin playing immediately - very important in a corporate environment where viewers generally have little patience. We are also beginning to use videos on landing pages where the CTAs are proving to be useful. So far, it is hard to see a scenario in which Gumlet would not be a good choice for video hosting.
