Overall Satisfaction with Gusto
At my organization, we use Gusto entirely for payroll. We have another app, called Factor, that helps us to log time. This app is for people in our industry (the structural engineering industry). It helps us to manage payroll and taxes. I think we may use Gusto in a more limited way than other organizations, and it can be cumbersome to log time in one app and do other payroll functions in another.
Pros
- Keeps records for a long time
- Tracks next anticipated paydate
- Provides data about how much I've been paid over time
Cons
- It was difficult to change my surname when I got married--someone at my office had to call
- It took some time to figure out how the rainy day fund worked
- I realize that there's a performance tab; I don't think anyone at my work knows that this can be used for performance reviews.
- Saved time doing payroll management
- Streamlined documentation for taxes
- Allowed for straightforward employee onboarding
