Overall Satisfaction with Gusto

It directly helps with payroll. It basically is our company's payroll. We clock in and out, and we can go back and edit if we forget to clock in or out. It's user friendly and is the only work website I haven't had any issues with so far. I use it to help save for a specific expense, and it makes it easy to set the money aside.

Pros

  • Location-based tracking

Cons

  • Editing on the phone leads to the occasional glitch and will actually delete the whole session.
  • When payroll cuts off, it takes longer for the pay stub to show up than it takes for the money to hit my account.
  • It won't let me see the paycheck amount, only see that it is on the way.
  • I'm not management, so I've seen limited interface compared to the administration, but it's easy to get for the common worker
  • I wish I could preprogram my clock in notes so that I'm not having to retype them
  • There's no differential setting between a session and drive time.
It's very user friendly, but for someone that is only on my phone for 10 seconds at a time, it could be more friendly. I really think that having preprogramed note drop downs could be very helpful, especially if it's something someone can set up to use in the future.

For session based work, I think Gusto is the best option. I've done more than one time tracking app, and it's just the easiest to use. For something with longer hours, like food service, I think it would still be a good idea. I really like being able to see proof that my paycheck is on the way.
