Overall Satisfaction with Harvest

Our group uses Harvest to track time we spend. In a smaller group like ours, it's not always clear where everyone is spending time. With Harvest, we're able to keep tabs on it.
  • Manual additions and auto count-up from manually entered time
  • Native desktop app with play and pause buttons
  • Cannot track time for anything other than specific, existing projects
  • No reminders to check progress or enter tasks you're working on
  • Our firm is able to track how much time we're spending on particular projects and objectives using Harvest.
  • I hear that Harvest has good reporting functionality.
I think that if one is trying to ascertain how much time is being spent on particular broad projects or clients, Harvest can be useful. However, I would prefer a tool that proactively asks me for information about what I'm working on, and one that allows for time tracking outside of specific projects.
