Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud File Storage
It is not directly used within our organization by employees but we use it for our apps. We use it for users to store images and documents in our app. We are working on corporate governance, where users can vote on agendas or proposals, store agreements, and governance policies. Users can upload pictures, organization documents, attachments, legal agreements, etc.
- Cost effective
- Fast speed
- Good looking UI/UX
- Reliable
- Bad IBM support.
- No guides available or really old/expired documentation to get started.
- Billing and usage is confusing.
- It reduces cost to some extent.
- Increased cost to get people familiar with IBM Cloud.
- Unclear fees and taxes, sometimes the fees are really higher than expected.
- Good credits program to get started.
AWS has much better tutorials and documentations to get started and implement their services directly to our tech stack. I found IBM very difficult to get around here. IBM support does not help at all. We mostly use IBM because of the cloud credits program, must choose AWS if you could. Also, there’s an extra cost to get employees familiar with IBM.

- IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service
Not much impact. These services are difficult to integrate with each other. Written tutorials are difficult and don’t help. I had to use alternative services from other cloud providers which have better tutorials to get started. Video tutorials might help better. Plus the IBM support does not help. The IBM Blockchain Platform is only good in terms of tutorials.
