Ustream was already implemented when I started with the company. I was not present for its implementation so don't have any feedback one way or another as per ensuring smooth implementation of the Ustream video streaming service, but I would imagine that it should be fairly painless to get started using Ustream.
It is a standard webplayer to operate once the user is signed in with their company credentials, so as a viewer of Ustream the experience is easy [and] straightforward. Setup [for] a stream is just as painless and being able to stream at any moment makes scheduling an event a breeze for the broadcaster.
We use Ustream to easily share important information to a large number of employees on a daily basis with live streamed talks and through the Ustream library of previously recorded events. Different teams within our company will book time to share and teach other team members across the company, in various time zones via live streams over the Ustream platform.
  • Easy to use dashboard makes the workflow smooth.
  • Privacy controls are good and important to help keep company information private.
  • The library makes it easy to review old content.
  • Changing the default thumbnail for a video back to the first frame as opposed to grabbing a random frame.
  • Integrate the trimming too and thumbnail selection all in the video preview window in the main dashboard edit page.
  • Smooth out the playback transitions between resolution changes.
Our company uses Ustream to to constantly share important information inside of teams or with the whole company via the Ustream video service. With multiple live streamed events every week Ustream has become an important tool for us. The library of previous streams helps new hires and anyone just wishing to go back and rematch something easy and at their convenience.
Ustream is a great solution for companies to have a secure way to let their employees be up to date with important information regarding their employer. It is easy to use and share streams with any one with the required company credentials to be up to date and informed on the latest company changes.
Ustream is a great solution for companies to share information with a large number of employees via live streaming video service. Whether it is an update, Q&A, learning session or just for fun, Ustream makes it easy for all employees and only employees to take part live or view the recording afterwards if they can't attend the live event.
