Usability

[It's] great for external, not so good for internal videos (without eCDN).

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use IBM Cloud Video for corporate town hall presentations and internal video streaming.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Multiple channel pages
Password protection
1080p streaming on mobile and desktop

Cons

eCDN is too expensive.
Allow file upload larger than 4GB. This is particularly applicable when I need to re-upload videos longer than 1 hour.

uStream is great for live streams that need password protection. It's not so great for internal streams where lots of people are watching; eCDN would apply here but it's way too expensive. It's cheaper for us to burst bandwidth with our ISP once every 2 months than it is to set up eCDN.

IBM Cloud Video is great with a few exceptions for those looking for internal streaming.
