Maximo is great for asset management and is very compliance friendly and very adaptability
Overall Satisfaction with IBM Maximo Application Suite
Maximo helps me be more organized with their maintenance tasks which assigns lotos to buildings, sites, job plans and work orders. Their predictive maintenance technologies and gis integration also helps us in managing leaks and organizing repairs and furthermore their flexibility helps businesses including utilities and manufacturing as well.
Pros
- a basic UI with sensible navigation and useful applications
- competent in all spheres of electronic signatures and every criteria
- flexible layout and flawless asset management integration
Cons
- sql knowledge is essential for reporting, so non-IT teams find it useless
- ibm upgrades sometimes cause disruption as they affect maintenance and production times
- not being able to print work orders in bulk significantly lowers our efficiency
- enhanced key performance indicators and better data for problem solving
- compliance with legal criteria
- improved output by better asset and staff management
To me Maximo is a very good product and it completely changes the game when you connect lotos to locations and objects and with features like inspections, technicians and planners could access it with relative ease. Two more areas where I think it thrives more are maintenance and tracking asset inventory costs.
From what I can tell Maximo has helped us to improve our operational efficiency and people management and we now have to worry less during audits results from simplified regulatory compliance too.
