Overall Satisfaction with IBM NS1 Connect

We use it for all our DNS needs. It helps create various geo-based filters to route users to the nearest servers using DNS resolution, which helps in faster response times. It also provides uptime monitoring of the IPs, which comes in handy and maintains the highest performance.

NS1 connect has one of the best response times for public DNS and high uptime. We see it beating some of the other vendors hands down.

It is best when used in apps that need the highest performance levels and uptime. The traffic steering functionality and super fast DNS resolutions ensure that you can focus on the rest of the infrastructure. The system scales well, making it also useful when you have many records to manage.

Scalability and Accessibility

The interface can be better. As of now, it is a bit difficult to manage multiple records at the same time or to test the rules effectively. The data reporting is also not as great as we expect with tools of today’s maturity.
