Overall Satisfaction with IBM Robotic Process Automation

We use IBM RPA to automate a wide range of tasks such as Processing and organizing incoming service requests, such as requests for new hardware or software installations. We also use it to monitor network systems and alerting IT staff to any potential issues or outages. In the Security department IBM RPA is being used to update software and installing security patches on company computers and those for our clients. I have deployed it severally to generate reports on network usage and performance. We generally use it to automate many of the routine, repetitive tasks that are typically performed by our staff
  • Monitoring network systems for potential issues or outages. If the system detects a problem, it can automatically generate an alert and notify you allowing us to quickly respond and resolve the issue.
  • With the appropriate training, IBM RPA can automatically generate reports on the network usage and performance whether for the company or our clients . This includes things like the number of active users, the amount of data being transmitted, and any potential bottlenecks or other issues.
  • Generally automating the routine tasks.
  • If the system is not properly trained, it may make errors or mistakes, which can lead to costly problems for the company.
  • While we were implementing the RPA , there was some resistance from employees who were used to performing these tasks manually, and were concerned about their job security.
  • IBM RPA has greatly Improved our customer satisfaction rates. It helps us to improve our response times and deliver faster, more accurate service to our customers improving client satisfaction.
  • We have lowered operational costs by automating routine tasks with IBM RPA so that we can reduce labor costs and other operational expenses.
I have in the recent past integrated the chatbots with various third party messaging platforms, like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Hangouts. This allows us to automate tasks and processes within these platforms and improve our overall efficiency and productivity.
I'm unsure of the exact amount of time in hours that IBM RPA saves us but it always depends on the specific tasks and processes that are being automated, as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of this RPA software. In general, however, it helps to significantly reduce the time and effort required to perform routine tasks, allowing us to focus on more important and value-added work.

Do you think IBM Robotic Process Automation delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with IBM Robotic Process Automation's feature set?

Yes

Did IBM Robotic Process Automation live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of IBM Robotic Process Automation go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy IBM Robotic Process Automation again?

Yes

In my opinion, I think that IBM RPA is most suited to tasks that are routine, repetitive, and do not require human judgment or decision-making, most of which I have mentioned in the previous questions. On the other hand, IBM RPA may not be well-suited to tasks that require human judgment, decision-making, or creativity. An example is troubleshooting complex technical issues. Troubleshooting technical issues can require a high level of expertise and experience, as well as the ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems in a systematic way which is impossible with the RPA.
