Overall Satisfaction with IBM Turbonomic
We leveraged Turbonomics to proactively identify and address potential resource issues within our OpenShift cluster. By analyzing the insights provided, we aimed to implement automated solutions to mitigate resource contention and ensure optimal performance across the cluster. Furthermore, we utilized Turbonomics to accurately estimate the costs associated with migrating our virtual machines to various cloud providers, including Azure and AWS. This comprehensive approach enabled us to make informed decisions and strategically plan our cloud migration efforts.

Thanks to detecting over-provisioning in the VMs, we were able to reduce the cost of computing and storage infrastructure by 5%. This discovery allowed us to consolidate several applications into a single VM, whereas previously, there was one VM per application. This application reorganization required a one-time rework by the development area but reduced maintenance from an infrastructure perspective.
