Overall Satisfaction with IBM® watsonx™ Orchestrate®
Sales Agent orchestration for the sales process. Watson Orchestrate orchestrates areas with manual and error-prone steps - proposal development, contract review, quote, and sign-off. Business Development provides access to information from multiple tools in one view of consolidated information for our Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM).
Pros
- CRM updates and lead management.
- Reminders for tasks and automation of sequenced skills.
- Approval and confirmation workflows.
Cons
- User experience in custom skills could be simplified.
- APIs are great... but form/website-based form interaction could be improved (as other similar products have.
- Training and documentation are delivered for 101 getting started, and when you need deeper technical understanding, documentation could be improved.
- As a very small team WxO give us more time back and handles manual tasks.
- WxO helps us reduce manual errors (and the time it takes to find and resolve.)
- WxO, as a task scheduler and reminder system, helps us not forget certain key events with time-dependent requirements.
Trust in the LLMs and models and transparency regarding the skills flow and workflow would probably be the most important. We are not highly regulated or have significant policies to adhere to. Still, the security of working with IBM and the ecosystem of trusted parts of the platform eases our minds regarding all of AI's challenges with trust and transparency.
Context-aware business process automation. Robotic Process Automation can automate repetitive tasks. WxO allows the skills flow to be aware of the context we can provide to make deterministic decisions and actions. Workflows also improve over time, and the more knowledge provided to them, the more they learn. It is not a static automation that will require updating as business scenarios change.
- Make
Make has more community of workflows to follow that have been redeveloped and are available for download. Selecting WxO is based on our trust level with IBM and the propositions of the Granite model being less biased, more business trained, and the ecosystem allowing for expansion with Assistant and Discovery.
