iCIMS Should Be On Every Company's Short List!

Overall Satisfaction with iCIMS Talent Acquisition Software Suite

Used across my entire organization and I have 4 recruiter users on it. It's the platform that helps us fill 300-400 positions a year. It's basically all things Talent Acquisition for us.

Pros

  • Very user friendly
  • Very user customizable vs. having to submit requests for changes like other ATS systems
  • Great candidate pre-screening library tools with the ability to weight answers
  • Intuitive and ability to dictate OUR workflow vs. making our process fit the system
  • New releases work very well vs. Taleo new releases that seem to cause problems across the system; I used Taleo in my last company.
  • Update 3-22-15: I just recently updated to latest version 14.2 and as usual the update works seamlessly.
  • Customer Support is outstanding and you get to talk to live people. They are also very knowledgeable of the product, features and configurations.

Cons

  • As I mentioned, Customer Service seems to go to voicemail more than it has in the past
  • Update 3-22-15: Cust. Serv. been much better, rarely getting sent voicemail (if at all). I'm also always impressed just how knowledgalbe how well informed their reps are, they go above and beyond a level 1 support and rarely do I need level 2 or more support.
  • I'm trying to use thier Connect product which basically gives candidates the ability to just provide their resume without applying. I'm frustrated I can't create a custom field whereby I can inquire what their current title is and be able to search on it.
  • Update 3-22-15: iCIMS has made improvements to the Connect module.
  • It has helped us do a better up front pre-screens which has been a big time-saver reviewing the most qualified candidates first and the least qualified last based on weighting their answers.
  • It has reduced time-to-fill in the past year by almost 2 weeks
  • It has helped save search firm fee's because I create "Sourcing" job reqs and recruit ahead of our needs. We have pipeline ready to go and no need to call it out to agencies.
  • Per above, has helped reduce cost-per-hire
  • Has also increased quality of hire because we start with a pre-vetted pool

Demo'd: Kenexa, ADP, Kronos and many others

iCIMS is my favorite and should be in everybody's top 2-3 if in a selection process.
I've implemented several different systems and worked on many more, this is an outstanding solution for any size company. I'm very disappointed in a Taleo implementation with my previous organization and thrilled to be back on iCIMS.

Be prepared, iCIMS charges for recruiter users and it can add up fast.

Using iCIMS Talent Acquisition Software Suite

I've been in recruitment over 20 years, seen them all and iCIMS accommodates any/all needs and you don't need to be ra ocket scientist to implement and make configurations yourself later.
