IDrive for your data needs - working across different devices, backups, etc

I am a data nerd and enjoy analzying real estate for trades like the stock market. I work on multiple computers and devices and have always purchased new portable drives every year to ensure my equipment is working properly. On occasion I get distracted and leave the device, which is a huge inconvenience. A few years ago I purchased several SSD drives (pro extreme) and liked the portability. If you a Sandisk SSD drive please make sure it is backed up at all times. The 2TB as well as a few others are known to have issues (I didn't know till mine crashed). I also did not that when an SSD drive crashes that your local computer expert cannot help and it is very expensive to retrieve your data - you will have to send it away to be repaired in a clean room. I've also paid to retrieve data that is corrupted and a jumbled up mess that will never be the same. I've tried working on the cloud, but it seemd to slow the process, so far I like this much better. I've not had a change yet, but I am told my files will all be on the cloud and easy to retrieve from any any device. Customer service is patient, easy to understand and very pleasant.

While looking for solutions, I bought a backup drive that I thought would work just my computer and files would be easy to retrieve, not so! It was horrific, I had two computers working for over a week trying to get my data out of the backup files.

This system can take days to back up your files initially and you can schedule daily backup or skip the weekends, it is your call. The daily backups will just do an update, but they not delete things (they have an option to clean up data and I am sure that I will call for help when I am ready) I think I have found a good solution, only time will tell. I am hoping this system is "Tonya Proof" :-) because I do have a knack for losing data. I am glad to have Idrive on my team.
