Overall Satisfaction with IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2

We use IDrive to backup all of our data files and company emails. We work primarily in 3-D CAD and those types of files tend to be very large. Also, we have a lot of graphic design artwork and images and files are also extremely sizable. IDrive helps us easily backup on a daily basis where we don't have to worry about losing any data.

Pros

  • The dedicated app is very convenient to use.
  • The additional phone app is also very easy to access and utilize
  • The size that they offer for the pricing is very reasonable

Cons

  • The overall speed of the backing up could be somewhat faster
  • The app itself could be a bit more intuitive to use
  • They can offer extended backup plans like a 3 year or a 5 year plan
  • For the price, 5TB of backup data is more than enough, we can always add more but for the price, it's very reasonable
The app is very intuitive and easy to use and convenient. The dedicated backup time is very easy to work with but we just have to be mindful of when it's backing up.
IDrive is more reasonably priced and that in itself was the driving force behind using iDrive. All of the other options seemed good also but I like having a dedicated app and service that you can work with in the background.

Being able to back up on a daily basis is very helpful as well as having a dedicated app that does this all automatically. Sometimes we do forget to modify the timing of the backup as we may be working and it's backing up automatically and our productivity slows down because our machine is backing up.
