Affordable backup solution for large amounts of data

User-friendly user interface, very easy to find things without assistance, no use of complex terminology, everything is explained in the UI itself. The client software is easy to setup, even the Linux server software doesn't have too much complexity involved. The mobile app is also user friendly and simple to configure.

Great for affordable endpoint backup in the cloud, when the legal compliance required is standard and there is no need for multiple replication.

Also good option to replicate NAS devices in the cloud, given its large capacity for an affordable cost, although for that you need a NAS device that supports it natively, or a server attached to the NAS device to perform the backup periodically. A workstation attached to a NAS might not be a great idea since the upload speeds are slow and you might have to leave the computer working for days, plus it consumes quite a few CPU resources during the process.

However, for backing up workstations themselves, it can work if they don't generate too many data or the backup scope is limited to the essential documents.

I would not recommend IDrive Online Backup and Object Storage e2 for long term archiving -remember despite the large capacity, it should be considered as "warm storage". Managing huge amounts of historic data that most likely won't need to be accessed is going to be expensive.
