Overall Satisfaction with IFS Applications

IFS Applications is being used as an business automation tool in our organisation. Helping us to planned production schedule, perform SCM related task like Procurement authorization, Inventory tracking and in short, IFS Applications is our business processes digital twin. IFS Agile technology has really helped us to configure our business requirements internally even without going into customization processes.

  • Project Budget control other than Procurement
  • Customer Advance settlement process should be Manual rather then Auto Adjustment
  • IFS GSO Support should be more proactive
  • IFS Application has integrated all our processes across different department
  • Clear insight of business running on Shop Floor to top floopr
  • We met almost 65-75% of our objectives and consider this number as a ROI
In our organization, the IFS Applications is being used in most processes starting from Business Opportunity processes to Sales Order delivery processes where the IFS Applications helps us to raise procurement requests for SCM, Production schedules for the Shop Floor, Supplier invoicing, Customer Invoicing. Additionally, the Payroll process is completely automated where travel requests to employee attendance is being directly captured in ifs cloud.
IFS Applications is based on Agile Technology which allows organizations to reconfigure user interface as per user requirements and make it user-friendly. Other applications are lagging on many fronts like User Interface, Online help document availability, Implementation methodology, and post-implementation expenses.

IFS Applications is best suited for MRP processes whether you are in Project-based manufacturing or not. In addition to the MRP process, IFS Applications offers AI-based MSO component which gives a clear insight into Production schedule. MSO component suggests where we need to focus on the planned production schedule, tardy order information, machine downtime, or other manufacturing constraints. IFS Applications needs to work on certain areas like Project Budget functionality enhancement since it only controls procurement-related transactions only.
