Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Hiring Platform

Indeed Hiring Platform is used by our HR department in order to assess candidates for specific open roles within the company. It has helped us to quickly assess candidates and set up interviews and next steps. The platform decreases the applicant pool and has been of assistance to our HR team when speedy replacements are necessary.
  • Filtering by experience/qualities needed
  • Providing a large pool of applicants
  • Speeds up the hiring process
  • Would be nice to have a feature where you can respond to applicants through email instead of through the platform
  • For roles that need multiple interview sessions or a very large pool to choose from the features of this platform are not super accomodating
  • Candidate quality is sometimes subpar, even after filters are used
  • Hiring process took less than a week, saving us time
  • Speedy hiring process also leads to less money spent
  • Communication worked for both the applicant and us as a company- which was a positive experience
LinkedIn Jobs have the advantage of applicants being able to see a company in detail before they apply by looking at the company profile, employees profile, and links to company websites/accomplishments. I think this has an advantage over Indeed from the applicant's point of view. From a potential employer's perspective, Indeed has the upper hand. You can easily filter the experience and traits you need in an applicant. There is no confusion with communication and it saves time by providing a large applicant pool from the very beginning.

Do you think Indeed Hiring Platform delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Indeed Hiring Platform's feature set?

Yes

Did Indeed Hiring Platform live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Indeed Hiring Platform go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Indeed Hiring Platform again?

Yes

Indeed is well suited to smaller firms that are looking to fill key roles fast and need an instant pool of candidates. The filtering feature helps to weed out those who are not the best fit. Our HR team saved a lot of time using the platform to find a new office manager compared to word of mouth or Linkedin. The additional features offered don't seem very accommodating to bigger firms with an extensive interview process, especially if they are trying to track and make profiles of candidates. If you want something that fills immediate roles you can definitely find a suitable candidate within the large applicant pool the platform holds.

Using Indeed Hiring Platform

  • overall aesthetics of prompts is cohesive and pleasing to the eye
  • Scheduling and tracking interviews is simplistic and helpful
  • The pool of applicants reached is very broad compared to other hiring platforms, allowing for an easier way to create an applicant pool for more niche jobs
  • At the same time, having a big applicant pool for a more "generic" type of job can be a huge pain. Filtering in this scenario is not as smooth or intuitive as Linkedin
  • I've heard of some applicants getting confused about how to apply and schedule. I am unsure what the platform looks like on their end, but perhaps an issue to investigate
Overall usability is very good, for our company it's been helpful for us to be able to navigate a large applicant pool. We've also found the prompts and icons to be very intuitive and aesthetic. Issues have mostly been on the applicant end and the interview option, while helpful, has also had some minor usability issues in the past.
