Overall Satisfaction with InEight

I use InEight primarily for FLHA's and Safety Minutes. I use it daily and also pull crews FLHA's, Safety Minutes and Worksite Inspections daily. I am not Safety but I use the site frequently enough that I took training to be able to navigate it. There are a few issues I find plague me but are not overly serious just a little annoying.
1. There is a 15-minute delay in downloading FLHA's that are recently completed and if you try to open them too soon, you have to wait again.
2. I don't find InEight as intuitive and as easy to navigate as I am used to with other platforms.

Pros

  • Provides a lot of different documents in one place
  • dashboard which is helpful
  • weather i find helpful for FLHA's

Cons

  • The lag in pulling recent reports
  • the filters are not always the best.
  • navigation of the site
This provides the crews one place to easily navigate their daily documents as well as one place for the superintendents, safety and management to track, follow up and review documents. There are task reminders that are helpful for both the workers, managers, superintendents, foremen and safety.
I have heard the safety department has seen improvement with this platform and there have been increases in certain areas.
The scalability of this software is great. We are still slowly working on integrating all aspects of this software throughout the company, but what has been rolled out this far has been well received.

Well suited would be the number of different documents there are. I don't know if there is anything less appropriate for what I use it for, just not as easy.
