Overall Satisfaction with Infogram
Infogram is a really great infographic tool, allowing us to quickly construct a captivating graphic without too much editing. One of the responsibilities of my department is to work with health communication to the population. As such, often we have to convey complex numeric data in a format that is easy to read and understand. Before Infogram, we had to make all infographics by hand in Illustrator or Photoshop. Now, with Infogram, we have access to a wide range of options that make our work process much quicker and smoother.
- It is specifically made for the creation of infographics and it excels in this field.
- It provides the novice user with many beautiful templates, easing the learning process.
- It integrates with many databases, making the infographic dynamic always up-to-date.
- As with other web-based apps, you need a reliable internet connection.
- Sometimes you really wish to have more control over some graphics, to make finer tweaking.
- The price for the pro version (the lower tier above free) is currently at 19 USD/month when billed annually, which can be a bit much if you don't need to use Infogram regularly.
- It reduced greatly the time spent in creating visual communication pieces for social media.
- It helped to integrate up-to-date information in our design.
- It made our business reports richer with infographics, enhancing the readers' satisfaction.
Infogram's most unique strength is its focus on infographics, providing a great number of templates and at the same time connecting such graphics with data sources. Prezi is great for presentation, but it provides static infographics. Illustrator and Photoshop have some possible ways to integrate data into their graphics, but they are rudimentary compared to Infogram's abilities. Despite the huge power of Photoshop and Illustrator for creating specific images, Infogram is easier and more powerful in conveying data, making it the best option for infographics.
