Overall Satisfaction with Infosec Skills

I use Infosec Skills as my primary source of technical education for my duties. We are also trying to run a trial of the awareness training solution of Infosec. I select my path to learn. I'm really satisfied with the quality of the content that Infosec brings in the platform. I've already recommend Infosec to all my colleagues when I speak with them about education and certifications.

In the future we are going to integrate a group of developers to the courses regarding to secure code topics. The only issue I have seen through all this time using the platform is that it sometimes shows me a disconnection message, but after some refresh in the browser it comes back to normal.
  • Great content.
  • Well organized.
  • The content is up to date.
  • Very good labs to help you get skilled in the topic.
  • The teachers have great experience in the area of knowledge they are [teaching].
  • You have the record of all your activities and the progress of your courses.
  • You have exams very similar to the cert exams.
  • Exam vouchers.
  • I would like to see the instructors not just the slides of the contents.
  • I would like to be able to save the progress of the labs.
  • I really need a mobile app to be able to keep studying on the go.
  • Excellent path for me.
  • I have access to the education I want to be a better professional.
  • In February, I was promoted to security analyst and I had at least the basic knowledge thanks to Infosec Skills.
  • I have never been in touch with pentest labs or skills, and now I've been taking the courses in Skills and I know what is all about.
  • Now I'm getting a solid knowledge in risk management thanks to the offer I got in Skills.
In some cases, Infosec Skills' content it is more updated than others, the price it is more affordable than others, the organization of the content it is better and it has better labs.

In Infosec, you have their learning paths which help you to get specific courses for a specific goal. For example, a certification or to get some specialization in an area where you want to. This is why I decided, after running some trials, to stay with Infosec.
Yes, I'm very excited because I'm learning about risk management, CEH, and security auditor, so now I have another approach to my professional profile. I have some challenges in my job- I have to prepare some security controls, I also have to recommend a security framework to be implemented in the company and most of the information I'm getting is from Infosec Skills.

In the risk area, I have been able to go step-by-step with the required knowledge I was asked for my role, the same for ethical hacking, I've been working the learning path of the official ethical hacking learning path and I'm really happy with the experience I'm getting in Skills.
I have some projects assigned and most of the information I need, I'm able to get from the courses offered at Infosec Skills.

As I mentioned before, I have all the progress recorded in the platform. In some cases, the courses of a learning path are shared with another learning path, so I'm able to get as a completed course if I did in the path, saving time and getting progress more quickly.

I'm really excited with the experience. I hope that Infosec keeps getting better and better with the excellent offer they have with this product.
Because I have all the progress saved in my profile, It is not a 10 because I really want a mobile app for me to be able to keep learning in the go. I just have one complaint and it is that one, Infosec must put out a mobile app.

It is a good platform to get your career to another level. I trust in the level of knowledge and experience of the instructors, and in the quality of the material as well. I know that if someone like me get into Skills, I would get the same impression I have experienced for all this time I've been working with Skills.
It is well suited for IT departments, for educational institutes to prepare some alliances to bring the same content to the students, for individual use, for every tech guy which wants to get prepared by himself, for developers to learn how to improve their code from a security approach and for ones which want to be updated with the needed knowledge of their area of work.

It will also be well suited when you want to progress or do a crossover to the cyber-security world, but if you don't have enough knowledge or experience in networking, coding or some other areas. You are not going to get that kind of courses in the platform, so you need to look for basic courses in another sites.
