Overall Satisfaction with Intacct
We use Intacct for our firm's internal accounting. We have a separate system for our accounts receivable that is used to track client time and process billing. I am one of two business users for the firm. We also have several view only users who are partners so they can review the general ledger each month and give me corrections or ask questions.
Pros
- Intacct easily does expense allocations
- The financial reporting is very flexible.
Cons
- I am missing the wonderful expense allocation feature in cash management. It would be great to use the credit card feature there but most all of our credit card charges are allocated across offices.
- Intacct allows me to quickly turn around our financials on a monthly basis.
Most of our clients use QuickBooks and we definitely promote that product. We selected Intacct because it's a cloud solution and we have access from anywhere. One of our large clients also uses Intacct and we are their CFO. So, we know the benefits of using Intacct to support our clients but as I've said previously, small businesses tend to not want that extra monthly cost.
- Fewer than 25% of my clients
