Modules Used
- General Ledger and Accounts Payable were the only modules utilized by the companies that we managed. We found that we only needed a data warehouse to store ledger information and check processing capabilities. The other modules were not utilized by the companies that we manage and we felt the system was too complex for what we needed. The sytstem was very easy to use though and has many dashboard capabilities.
Overall Satisfaction with Intacct
Intacct is used to capture trial balance data from month to month or quarter to quarter from the insurance companies that we manage. We also use the Accounts Payable module to process disbursements.
We were able to promote our company by providing dashboard options. Some companies enjoyed this option, but never logged in to utilize, it was one more website to log into to access pertinent information on their company.

- The dashboards allow you to tailor the clients information to be a useful analytical tool.
- Importing and Exporting is extremely easy.
- Cloud based accounting software was really easy to access from anywhere with WIFI.
- Modules were very complex, we only needed the General Ledger and Accounts Payable. We wish there were levels of use where we could ONLY have these 2 modules, so that all of the options in reporting, etc. do not show-up.
- Sometimes the import feature was not very sucessful. There was an error importing, but the error code was not always easy to understand to troubleshoot.
- Technical support was not always able to help with day-to-day tasks, and we found that we had to figure out a lot of the questions we had on our own.
Intacct is an amazing product that we underestimated the capabilities and found that we needed something a little more simplified.
