Overall Satisfaction with iSpring Suite

iSpring Suite allows relatively fast conversion of storyboards into interactive asynchronous online modules. Additionally, the SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) output allows for easy completion tracking on my Learning Management System.

As such, iSpring Suite allows for deployment and tracking of online courses at scale, which translate in enhanced effectiveness and efficiency.

Pros

  • Familiar interface based off PowerPoint
  • Easy to navigate interface
  • Various publishing options that integrates with LMS

Cons

  • Fully customizable Progress Bar (e.g., progress bar with the sections and % completion)
  • Copy and pasting function that parallels PowerPoint (e.g. keep source formatting, and paste as text)
  • Positive impact is that iSpring Suite allows for the relatively fast deployment of asynchronous online courses at scale.
It is relatively quick for someone to learn how to use iSpring Suite as it is based off PowerPoint. In other words, if you are familiar with PowerPoint, navigating iSpring Suite is a breeze!

iSpring Suite is great when one has a detailed and completed storyboard. It is also more suited for storyboards with minimal branching pathways; storyboards with many branching pathways makes it challenging to keep track of the pathways when working across PowerPoint and iSpring Suite.
