Keepit in a Nutshell

Even online providers that promise to keep your data on the cloud and secure are fallible. And this is when Keepit stands in. It can also be very useful when old archives were removed from our online repository more than several months ago; they would still be available to be restored from Keepit.

With one click of a button for setting up a wrong link of permissions on a parent folder permission hierarchy, all the sub-folders have lost all permissions without a trace. Keepit, helped remediate the damage by restoring the permissions to a great degree that saved days and perhaps weeks of re-implementation.

We do not use Keepit on a daily basis, but when it's needed, there is no need to remember where are the main functions. Hence it is indeed designed to be easy to use. Diving a bit deeper into more detailed backups and restores might not be as simple. However, those are specific scenarios that, most of the time, require keeping track of how your infrastructure is designed in the first place since Keepit only backs it up as it already is.
