Overall Satisfaction with Kendo UI

We currently use Kendo UI in several core applications in our organization. There are some LOB applications and also some client facing applications making great use of it, being that we have also extended some aspects of it for our own needs.
  • The grids are awesome. Power and flexibility are key.
  • The Kendo MVVM framework is a killer. It works really well with kendo widgets, but also with "common" HTML elements.
  • The support. The support is truly legendary.
  • It could be more flexible in the way it allows for UI customization. Integrating it with custom designs or layouts tends to be a bit a of a pain.
  • There could be more options for keyboard navigation on the grids, for more flexibility.
  • The date/time pickers should allow for a input mask from the factory, so one could use it to allow users to make correct inputs easily.
  • It allows for lesser development times for certain features, that's sure. Sometimes though when it comes the need to extend a widget, it can become an issue.
Actually, I did not try any other. When I arrived Kendo was already a standard tool in the organization.
Outside of ALS, I've had contact with other web suits from Telerik and also from SyncFusion.
LOB applications are the natural place for it, no doubt. Intranet applications for data collection, applications that make extensive use of grids and complex inputs (grids, schedulers, etc.) are natural fits also.
There are values on Kendo for web portals and applications also, but probably not so much as for the other ones.

Once or twice, there are a bug that impacts progression. One of those occasions, it had to do with a customized (extended) grid and even though it is not a supported scenario, they helped overcoming our issue,
