Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use the spam email tests monthly to select departments and quarterly to all departments. Depending on how users react to the email they may be required to take a quick refresher training course or retake the full training course. We have seen a vast improvement in users reporting the test spam emails along with actual spam/phishing emails to our network security team.

Pros and Cons

Good training modules that explain risks in plain English that is easy for non-tech users to understand.
The spam test tools are excellent and can be tailored to our needs
Allows us to see how users reacted to spam test emails like did they click the link and if so did they put in their user credentials.

The tools I have access to work quite well for our situation I'm not the one to answer this question

Return on Investment

Since we started using KnowBe4 we have seen a steep decrease in users falling for spam/phishing attempts.
We have also seen a decrease in users putting their login details on sticky notes attached to their computer or monitor.
We have been able to cut down on password sharing and more users now understand why we have them change passwords every 90 days.

Support Rating

I haven't needed to contact support but from what I hear from my manager the support department is quick to respond and is usually able to solve the issue.

Usability

Great usability and the training modules are easy to get through for all of our users.

Likelihood to Recommend

The training and spam test tools work well for us. We support our county government admin center which has various different departments like auditor, planning, building, health, and human services, etc. So we have a wide range of users from tech illiterate to know enough to be dangerous. The training modules are well suited and are able to get the point across about how network security affects all our users and what to look out for.
