Use Cases and Deployment Scope

KnowBe4 Security Awareness is used to promote and support our company Security Awareness training program and SOP. We have active (weekly and adhoc) campaigns and results are shared with management (including the Board of Directors) and whenever asked by outside auditors.

Pros and Cons

Campaigns very easy to setup and manage.
SCORM compatible.
Excellent customer service/support when I have a questions.

Reports - need the ability to create custom reports.
Would like to have a "save as draft" when creating campaigns. Sometimes I'll build a campaign and forget to check or create something (i.e., a Group) and I have to exit/cancel.

Low cost to implement.
Excellent customer support.
The built in reports are good but I need the ability to create my own custom reports.

Usability

The included training content is high quality and easy to understand. Most of the content is SCORM compatible which makes it very flexible if you have another dedicated LMS that needs to be used.

Very easy and KnowBe4 Security Awareness was very responsive to any questions our internal Legal department had.

Likelihood to Recommend

We needed an easy-to-use program to administer, but still be able to hold the user accountable for completing their assigned training. Setting up the initial baseline was simple and quick with very little prep-work required. The included content is a great library to get you started if you don't have time or access to training content; you can also add your own content so the platform is very open. If your company does not have a formal training system, KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training can be used - it has the ability to host your internal policies. It's close to a complete turn-key solution.
