Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness as our mandatory annual, organization wide security training. Our staff (users) don't have much tech savviness and it's hard to find a training that is both thorough (in quality and scope) and entertaining so that people don't just click through it to comply with the policy.
  • Entertaining and interactive
  • Large variety of information security topics
  • Role based training modules with the Level 3 tier
  • ADA accessibility (usability) is not 100% on some of their flagship products
  • When investigating security incidents with users, I have heard them directly reference the KnowBe4 training and state that their awareness was raised because of recently taking that specific training.
  • Users greatly prefer KnowBe4's professionally produced and entertaining training over our previous in-house created training videos.

It has given us the ability to address specific audit findings in the areas of role based training requirements and end user phishing awareness at a much greater pace and impact than we have been able to previously due to the production quality and entertainment value. I genuinely believe that our users are now not just clicking through the mandatory training for compliance, but actually engaging with the modules because they are actually interested.
It's well suited to engage an audience that has a limited attention span and not a lot of tech savviness. So far we have received excellent feedback regarding the training modules.

  • SCORM modules function well in our internal LMS
  • Downloads sometimes stall and don't complete successfully
  • SCORM file names are sometimes confusing and I had to carefully look through and evaluate each option when downloading them, considering that I come from a cybersecurity background and am not an LMS administrator
  • While browsing the Mod Store, sometimes the filters for content type don't always function correctly and I need to reset them (using updated Google Chrome browser via Win 10)
