Power PDF Advanced

Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF

I manage all my clients' needs remotely. I work their time using tools that will enable them to grow their businesses. I must have software that allows me to edit/review documents in a timely fashion and produce results immediately.
  • I like the editing process; short, sweet, and accurate.
  • Searching is made very easy.
  • I love conversions; I can take any PDF and convert to any file type.
  • I use QuickBooks Online for all my clients, and I love Google Chrome; Kofax Advanced won't open to PDF in QBO. It only prompts me to "view," then it copies to my desktop, and then I have to view from there.
  • When I used Nuance, I only had to open it in QBO, and I could name my PDF from there.
  • Now, I can't view the PDF... I have to click, click and then view.
  • When I copy/past to a PDF, too many clicks to see the paste.
  • Nuance copied immediately.
  • Can't think of anything else.
  • I trade my time for money. The faster I produce, the more money I make.
  • I can take any document from any vendor/trade and proof it 40% faster to return purchase orders for sign-backs.
  • All bookkeeping requires back up, and Kofax allows the quickest production time for attachments.
It's great! Like all things new, it took a quick minute to understand, but it's like a well-fit glove now.
Kofax is better. I upgraded from Nuance and haven't looked back.
Never used support.

I'm a boomer....a senior who dialed a rotary telephone, wrote debits and credits in huge ledger books, then used an "adding machine" with a crank to balance the numbers. I did long division and still use shorthand. It takes a lot for me to trust anything new, but I started using Nuance about six years ago because Adobe was too Apple. By that, I mean I had to buy too many add-ons to make my professional life more manageable. I love how Kofax lets me find what I need even before I know I need it. I love the conversion. I can take any PDF and immediately convert it to the file type I need, then edit it. I figure I only use about 20% of its ability, but what I use is quick and easy for someone like myself...a boomer who knows how to make people's lives easier.
