Overall Satisfaction with Linode

Linode is cost effective cloud hosting solution for us. I use it to host my clients' WordPress sites and my sites as well.

Pros

  • Good support.
  • Totally safe to use. No data compromization.
  • Cheap pricing.
  • Easy and quick to set up and run a Linode.

Cons

  • Live chat support of course.
  • Ease of setting up mailing, etc. with SMTP.
  • Better dashboard, more confident dashboard like DigitalOcean.
  • I wanted to migrate from Bluehost multi hosting to Linode.
  • One 4gb Linode handles 10-20 WP sites easily.
  • That means good returns for us.
DigitalOcean has a bigger team but I think support wise I found Linode more trustworthy.
Cloudways have an edge over Linode as of the live chat support but same time the data is totally visible to their support team.
So Linode = Good support + Cheaper price + Data safety. That's why I chose Linode.
They reply almost instantly within half hour. But I wish they could ramp up their team by adding live chat support executives.
Perfect for small business owners like me, dedicated IP, availability in different locations, and the servers are really faster.
