Overall Satisfaction with Litmos

We use Litmos as our learning platform for compliance, on the job training and professional development. It pairs well with translation and voice over products that allow us to address language and learning challenges with our team whose first language is not English. We have seen a much greater retention rate by having training modules in their first language.

Pros

  • Creation of your own training modules is very easy
  • Automatic reminders of due dates
  • Grouping by employee type allows for assigning modules in groups
  • Conducting surveys of your employee groups
  • Providing a vast library of course to choose from

Cons

  • Containing their own capability for language translation
  • Containing their own capability for Voice over in multiple languages
  • Compliance has been huge for us
  • creating content

It's easy to use, although looking up content can be tough as there is so much, and it can be hard to narrow the search scope.
Litmos is great for a multitude of uses. It is great to create and house your own training modules. Compliance modules, such as Harassment Prevention courses or Ethics courses. Many of the professional development courses are very brief, so perhaps having some hearty higher-level courses would be nice. Also, having more advanced Excel or PowerPoint courses would be beneficial.
