Overall Satisfaction with Loom

Loom is a very simple and convenient way to create training videos for new staff. We also use it to record internal procedures and demonstrations. A very simple tool to document the back-end of the business that makes it easy and quick to update procedures and processes in our business.
  • Very simple UX
  • Intuitive to use and simple
  • Editing just after recording
  • Sending a link of video to people for collaboration and sharing
  • Options to have a webcam, the screen only and webcam + screen when recording a video
  • Can be slow to process the video recording
  • Video editing can a bit tricky with the cursors, and not very accurate on the timeline
  • Saves a lot time for training team members
  • Saves money
  • Improve delegation
  • Simplify process and procedures records
Simplified version of screenflow, not as comprehensive as screenflow in terms of features, but it does the trick for making short training videos. If you just want to capture something on-screen and not do a lot of editing, then Loom is perfect for that. Great for generating simple videos for content and feedback and training procedures.
I use Loom for simple tasks. Never used customer support really. It's so simple to use. I haven't had any real issue with Loom which would require customer support to help me out. So I just put 5 because I don't know if the customer support is good or bad since I never used, so I'm kind of neutral.
