Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Lucidchart makes it very easy to get started and feel like an expert quickly. The user interface is very intuitive, the graphic design is quite enjoyable, and the results make most everyone look like a pro! I would always want Lucidchart as a tool at my disposal anywhere I work.
Lucidchart is used in a wide variety of departments and applications at our company. We leverage it for ad-hoc diagramming (aka white boarding), detailed process diagramming, system configuration mapping, and to manage departmental org charts. It is a very easy to use, nimble, powerful tool. Since we have been using it for several years, it also serves as a great historical repository of solutions we've explored or designed in the past.

Pros

  • Detailed process diagrams with swim lanes.
  • Organizational charts with employee photos.
  • System / Architectural diagrams.

Cons

  • Love that Lucidchart is always innovating. Unfortunately, sometimes these updates are a surprise, and it takes some time to figure out how things work currently.
  • Improved collaboration.
  • Brought clarity.
  • Fostered alignment.
We are able to leverage Lucidcharts in our Confluence pages. We have not attempted other integrations.
Have not had to use support, but the help articles have been beneficial.

Gliffy was terrible! Lucidchart was head and shoulders above Gliffy at the time we elected to make the change.
