Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

Lucidspark is being widely used by a number of teams in the companies. Whenever we have to run a project or map process, we use tools like Lucidchart and Lucidspark. This is a great alternative to some of the other companies such as Miro, Mural, etc. The predeveloped templates prove to be quite useful with our process improvement workshops to brainstorm and collaborate.

Pros

  • Collaboration.
  • Project Planning.
  • Brainstroming Solutions.

Cons

  • More Templates are required.
  • Cover all Design Thinking techniques templates.
  • It's buggy, sometimes response time is way long and doesn't load.
  • Meeting effectiveness.
  • Effective brainstorming.
  • Better planning.
Lucidchart is a great addition to the existing Lucidchart site. There are a number of templates that are quite helpful for GB projects, qualitative data analysis, etc. I felt that some of the design thinking tools have not been included such as rose, buds, and thorns. Do not think that this is a problem, but its competitors are providing a lot more templates and options and it would be great if Lucidspark adopts all methodologies and provides templates for them as well.
The integration with Slack, Google Drive, Lucidchart, Gmail, etc is a big positive point as it makes sharing our work way easier. Rather than just access, I would say managing access permissions and providing temporary access is quite easy. It works smoothly and it becomes an important tool especially when we have to connect with cross-functional teams
Lucidspark has one of the easiest UI to work with. The templates are amazing and it's quite easy to edit. It has made online collaboration quite easy boosting the productivity of the usual brainstorming sessions. Project planning and management have also been smooth. Real-time collaboration has never been easy as the templates are easy to use along with sharing the work and managing the sessions.
Lucidspark support has been great. The customer success team is quite approachable and in fact, they reach out proactively to help answer any questions you might have. They have followed up timely to ensure the issues are resolved. Honestly, they have a great support team who are quite patient and helpful.

  • Miro and MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Miro, MURAL (formerly Mural.ly), ClickUp, Conceptboard
We have recently used Lucidchart & Lucidspark combination for process mapping, creating customer journey mapping, service blueprint, project planning, and brainstorming for six sigma GB projects. We have also utilized this for cross-functional collaboration to generate ideas for process improvement and change management. The only drawback is buggy UI, most of the time it works like a charm, but sometimes it just surprises us with a long loading time and link to doc not working.
