Lucidchart allows for seamless problem solving and idea generation across teams regardless of location
Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
Within our organization, Lucidchart is the tool most often used as a first-line resource when starting a project or diving into a problem. It is used across the company broadly by all teams in all capacities from product and project to implementation, customer service, and account management. It provides a single, centralized location where all team members can work together collaboratively to solve a problem or brainstorm alternative strategies.
Pros
- Process mapping
- Brainstorming
- Strategy
- Diagramming
- Virtual whiteboarding
- Collaboration
- Workflow mapping
Cons
- Shape Library Management
- Template Library Expansion
- Continued development on layer functionality
- Lucidchart dramatically improved collaboration during the pandemic when teams were operating in a completely virtual fashion.
- Lucidchart not only allows for collaboration internally, but it allows us to build artifacts and documents which can then be shared directly or exported into a format that is easily shareable and sent to our clients.
- The adoption of Lucidchart across the enterprise has allowed all our teams to be working in a single platform and speaking a single "language." This has contributed to more seamless handoffs and transitions as projects and customers are passed from one team to another and everyone is using a common tool.
We have just started exploring some of the integration options within Lucidchart, so our experience and realized value here are still somewhat limited. We definitely see the benefit that these integrations would drive as our previous SOP was to add screenshots and/or links to Lucidcharts into other applications where these documents were referenced, but if an image was used it was not kept updated in real-time. We have started using the Microsoft integration to embed live images/links into Powerpoint and it has proven very useful.
Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?
Yes
Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?
Yes
I have used several different similar products over the course of my career and all seem to have some benefits but none seemed to really meet all my needs. Ideally, I want a tool that works for me individually and allows me to manage my own projects and visual communication needs, but also allows for robust virtual collaboration. Lucidchart was my preferred option to use personally, it allowed for easy collaboration across teams and I appreciated that it was relatively easy for people to use requiring minimal training time.
