I am an online math tutor. All I need from the whiteboard is the ability to share PDF documents with math problems and the student's ability to work with me, i.e., write/draw some simple shapes and numbers. Pretty simple, right?<br>We both have to wait 3-5 minutes before the board loading. And yes, I do use paid option. Next, it constantly freezes when I try to delete some documents. Usually, it is a 20-30 pages PDF file with some additional pictures. Sometimes it takes me up to 20 minutes to select and delete some pages. And there is no button to clean the board completely. So I either have to choose each page separately and delete it, or try to do it in a bunch and wait for who knows how long.<br>I registered on this site and wrote this review and the board is still frozen

We are a small workshop collective working within the university. We provide professional workshop training to architecture students. We have been working with the Miro application for a long time and now we are looking for an alternative solution. Our goal is to ensure rapid cooperation and interaction, and to provide an environment where our students can interact comfortably without getting bored.
  • Pretty simple interface
  • A simple and successful video tutorial
  • Successful navigation features
  • A non-stop free hand drawing tool
  • The sticky note tool glitches and behaves as if it were moving on a grid.
  • PDF upload tool does not work fast. Maybe a PDF merge algorithm could be added.
  • The selection area is not visible when dragging the eraser tool.
Despite its lack of features, it is a very stable tool. It has a nice UI/UX design. Therefore, it can be a good tool for basic level workers to run their jobs. Educating students about interfaces can take time as our focus shifts to undergraduates and regular students. For this reason, Conceptboard's very simple interface and short tutorial video are very useful. However, it may not be suitable for large projects as the slow operation of the upload tools stands out as a missing feature.

Distributed teams from all over the world use Conceptboard for a variety of use cases. From running brainstorming sessions and remote workshops to project planning, from designing new products to facilitating agile processes. Conceptboard integrates seamlessly into existing workflows and speeds up your project pace. Empower your teams to manage sprints and iterations.
  • Real-time collaboration
  • Share with external stakeholders
  • takes forever for the board to load - once loaded, working in it is so slow.
  • all font sizes remain same - smart aligning and is not great at all
Multiple users from the team can work together, Commenting and stickies are useful, Like the integrated icons feature. That it is so simple that every discipline can use it. That there is already a prepared template. The building blocks and templates are great. By using sections it is very easy to give every break-out room their own board to work on. Quick helpdesk.

  • direct and fast service support
  • Easy compatibility with many other external companies
  • I can easily prepare a presentation and work on questions together between the information.
  • The client interface is less flashy and could use some updating.
This is a participatory instrument that enables team meetings and helps teams conduct meetings in a positive way during a pandemic. It also helped me share data with my team faster. And it's much easier to use and cheaper. Real-time changes are shown when someone makes a comment. The best part of working from home as we can collaborate as if we were in the same office

It is very easy to use and especially during the online meetings and in-house discussion it resolves our problems and allows us to use this software instead of physical boards. Also very useful to generate PDF after using it. It is having almost the annotation symbols which we require during meetings.
  • Draws annotations.
  • Allows the whole team to work together.
  • Upload existing document and work on it by adding annotations.
  • To add more integration points like to save the document in well-known content management systems.
  • Add more annotations especially to handle security-related projects.
  • I believe the rest of the features are fulfilling the requirements.
It was well suited during the online discussions, in-house meetings, teams collaborations really made it easy for all of us to work on the same project and annotate and design the technical diagrams. We mainly used it with customer meetings where we easily illustrated the diagrams and represent them to the customer and other stakeholders.

Conceptboard helped in bringing the entire organization on one single platform. It's audio/ visual call feature allowed us to stay on the same page and we can even determine who has made what changes which allowed us to figure out any change in plans. The good thing about the entire platform was it allowed us stay visually connected with each other with best of technology and also provided the best visual experience as a whole. The major problems with any other platform was we were not getting clear insights of the changes made by one team members as multiple teams and team members were involved, with this platform most of our issues were resolved on a single go. We can use it even more in the upcoming days with increased number of people.
  • We can determine the exact person in the team if he or she has made any changes in a particular board which helps everyone to be on the same page.
  • Storytelling was made easy. Now we don't need to go on multiple platforms like google meet, online spreadsheet etc. in order to make certain document
  • Audio / visual calling feature is amazing. You just need a reliable internet connection.
  • Eliminating manual errors through digital scrum
  • Ease of collaboration between different team
  • Physical touch is missing for remote teams
  • Gives no idea about the past implementation of a certain project/ process
  • Expensive as compared to other service providers
It is best suited for Mid size companies or startups who are into design thinking and related fields.
This tool on a whole can get bit expensive for large organizations as they require multiple features under one single package.

It's a nice tool to start a new project (I use it in software development but it can apply to all areas). We can do all the brainstorming in a collaborative way. All team members can participate, including the customers. We can combine diagrams, kanban cards, build timelines and to-do lists together as well as attach files to the workspace and have a central database to discuss and review ideas.
  • Create boards with unlimited canvas
  • Add diagrams, building blocks, icons
  • Embed videos and audios, attach files
  • Version control
  • When you leave the tab for a while, it seems it gets stuck, and we need to F5 the whole page
  • There are enough shapes to start a draw, but the variety of shapes could be improved
If you want to document a project in a formal way, maybe that's not the case for using Conceptboard. I see this tool as a great help for starting a project, especially when you need to draw the ideas with the customers. Also, this helps to remap the processes with the developers, and discuss technical aspects of the projects by drawing technical diagrams that help to bring clarity on how the project is going to be developed.

We use ConceptBoard to make workshops with our client and work out solution design, brand naming/identity definition, products evaluation, product/service strategy and team building activities. Especially after the pandemic the need for software like ConceptBoard has increased to support any team exercise with a design oriented approach. ConceptBoard is one of the best software to collaborate e visualize any artifact realized collaboratively.
  • Work collaboratively
  • Visualize concepts and designs
  • Wireframing
  • Integration capabilities are sufficient but must be improved
  • Media content upload isnā€™t so good
ConceptBoard is perfect to drive workshop and work collaboratively on product or service designs. It could be used to sketch quick wireframes of web interfaces. It is well suited to handle more than 20 users simultaneously on the same board.

Conceptboard is a very easy tool to use for collaboration. It is clean visually with simple controls that most people are able to use. You can have multiple workspaces and almost unlimited space to brainstorm and share ideas with team members. Former software has flaws; Conceptboard is simple to navigate and work with.
  • Easy navigation.
  • Aesthetically pleasing.
  • Efficient.
  • More customizing features.
  • Interface integration.
  • Minor updating issues.
Anytime where ideas are being shared, you need a workspace to put those ideas into action. If you want easy-to-use software that allows for unlimited collaboration with others, Conceptboard is what you are looking for. For smaller teams or those who won't utilize the software very often, this is not necessary.

Conceptboard is cheaper than Stormboard. Also, the user interface and reactiveness is slightly better than other team collaboration tools.
  • Team collaboration Board is dynamic
  • Calling options available
  • User interface feels and looks good.
  • Embedded media should have more options for customizing
  • Integration options are less
  • Uploaded graphics get unaligned
Conceptboard has better UI. Also, the user interface design and reactiveness are much better than other team collaboration tools. On top of that, it also offers calling options for both audio, video, and screen sharing as well. In comparison, other collaboration tools lack these calling features and sharing options. But Stormboard was better in terms of graphics and pictures uploaded to it in my opinion.

We have used Conceptboard during online video calls to bring all the team members up to speed while directing them through various notes and presentations. This makes it easier to share workflow and processes with team members.
  • Navigating within Conceptboard while sharing various slides is very easy
  • User-friendly and even beginners will not have any problem using it
  • Very neatly designed
  • Improve the drawing tools. For example, the inbuilt colour palates could be better
  • One cannot customize the design to their needs. So, customization should be available to meet specific requirements of users
It is well suited for us while organizing a meeting or adding participants to our board and easily navigating through data or presentations to showcase our data of workflows or business processes. Much easier while sharing our board with participants in keeping a check on who has performed what in the project or what has been completed and what is remaining. That's how we collaborate data from everyone on a particular project.

We utilize Conceptboard for brainstorming sessions and new ways to market out products. The problem currently is that the majority of the organization is remote. We do not have the ability to have in person meetings with big whiteboards or projectors. Zoom meetings help, but the fact that you can collaborate and brainstorm on Conceptboard is a huge help that spawns a ton of innovation and ideas.
  • Collaboration amongst teammates
  • encourages new ideas that otherwise may not be brought up
  • increased optics and visualizations of concepts/ideas
  • An improved mobile presence would be helpful
  • Enhanced messaging/communication while in the remote collaboration feature
  • stronger video quality on call/screen share
Conceptboard is well suited for companies that are remote and cannot hold in person meetings. It does a great job to duplicate the functions of a whiteboard being used in a large meeting, or an idea/mood board as well.

If your company is in person or hybrid, it may discourage participation and I don't see as strong of a business case to use it.

For such a small business, we have a lot to discuss and to figure out in our business strategy. We are facing decisions and strategies to reach our intended market and audience, and the employees of the company (myself included) mainly work on a remote basis. This product allowed for greater participation and collaboration while we each remained in our remote locations.
  • Security of our data
  • Remote collaboration
  • Creative, solution-based technology
  • Expensive for starter business w/o revenue
  • Difficulty of some staff to adjust to platform
  • Sometimes too broad of a structure
In my experience, this platform worked fairly well for our business. There were some individuals who struggled with the platform, and I could see it being more of a distraction (rather than a benefit or leading to progress) to those belonging to a large team or company. For us, we found that it worked well for certain team meetings where we were being more creative about solutions, but other times a conversation without that need for such vast collaboration, it was not necessary.

Conceptboard is an intuitive and easy to use visual collaboration platform for use by remote teams and users. Conceptboard is very easy to begin using, starting with a wide array of pre-made templates, users can instantly create text and custom shapes in order to present any kind of graphics they desire. This ability to intuitively create any graphic desired, allows for the sharing of ideas with an emphasis on visual collaboration. Feedback between team members is seamless and ever-evolving as comments and sticky notes are added to the shared document. Communication that does not affect the visual presentation can also be established using the built in chat functionality or conferencing tools allowing users to generate and share ideas on the fly.
  • Workflow Progress
  • Easy to Share
  • Intuitive Creation Tools
  • Task Assignments
  • Limited Trial Version
  • Must Use Google Drive Integration
  • Somewhat Stiff Touchscreen Controls
Conceptboard is most suited when it comes to team collaboration. Sharing boards is easy as there are options for a copied link as well as a QR code generator. Once a project is shared, user's can view the participants working on the board as well as adjust access settings as required. Conceptboard also excels when it comes to sharing external files and documents. With full built-in support for widget integration and audio/video embedding, there are unlimited possibilities for what can be created and shared, ultimately allowing users to share their complete, detailed vision with others in visually intuitive way.

Business problems that Conceptboard addresses -
1. Virtual whiteboarding and collaboration for onsite & offsite teams. Really does a great job in this particular use case
2. Project management - especially product management in an agile setup.
3. Brainstorming, and design collaboration including an all-hands approach to it

Scope of our use -
1. Virtual and online brainstorming for new projects, product ideas, backlog refinement, etc.
2. Really helpful in agile setup - Daily backlogs, retrospectives, etc.
3. Integrations with existing collaboration software
  • Whiteboarding - Helps teams to just use the tool as a whiteboard to help brainstorming
  • Templates - Pretty good templates to just drag and drop and use in a project. Helps with quick turnovers
  • Designing - Helps UI/UX , design teams a lot with user mapping, workflows, etc.
  • Integration - Could really improve the integrations with existing software, especially Jira which developers majorly use
  • Mobile apps - At least while we were using Conceptboard, they did not have mobile apps which made it a little challenging to use on the go.
  • Loading - If you switch b.w browser windows, it loads and this takes some time every time. Not ideal and should not happen
Well suited -
1. Whiteboarding, brainstorming, designing, workshops, etc.
2. Templates - Pretty good repository of ready-to-use templates esp for project management, agile, etc.

Less appropriate -
1. Anything that requires integration with existing enterprising software - limitations like no integration with Jira, Asana, etc.
2. Embedding anything related to images, videos, etc. The embed is not very smooth, it lags, and sometimes straight out doesn't work
3. Image search - Many competitors provide this feature and hence Conceptboard lacks here

Conceptboard is an excellent visual collaboration tool (virtual whiteboard) that allows our remote team to brainstorm together! I specifically have used it for brainstorming and roadmap/touchpoint planning. It's simple but extremely easy to use and navigate.

Working within a remote team in a marketing department ā€“ we have created quarterly plans, website touchpoint maps, and content brainstorms in Conceptboard.
  • Colorful and engaging collaboration
  • Easy to use
  • Creative freedom
  • Great Miro competitor
  • The visual tools are still fairly basic
  • It can be laggy when too many users are engaging
  • Limited colors have occasionally caused repeats
I have found Conceptboard to be well suited for basic brainstorms and planning. I have led content outlines, quarterly planning, journey mapping, and brainstorming in Conceptboard.

I have found anything that requires complex planning, like UX design mapping, to require a tool that has more complex capabilities like Figma. I also found that Conceptboard didn't work well for things like Gantt Charts.

I like to use Conceptboard as it is very easy to use even for beginners. I mainly use it to collaborate with my team to discuss views and craft my ideas. Conceptboard is very visually clean with simple controls and we can have multiple workspaces and almost unlimited space to craft our ideas with our teams. It is very easy to explain certain concepts to our teams that are hard to explain over emails and slack calls. I am able to invite participants with just a few clicks. It is very easy to prepare a presentation and also to organize large amounts of data. The set of features for planning, collaboration, and exploration of ideas is excellent. This is the best team collaboration software I came across.
  • Quick and easy to collaborate with team.
  • Easy to convey concepts and processes.
  • Very easy for Teams that work from home to do Virtual collaboration.
  • There is room for improvement in the variety of drawing tools, shapes, and figures
  • There are not much options to customize the interface according to our needs
  • Sometimes I face issues while uploading documents and larger files
It is very easy to use as virtual collaboration software, To explain processes and concepts easily to the team and to prepare presentations and give presentations in real-time, It is well suited for remote jobs where teams are scattered and work from home. There is room for improvement in the customization area but other than that it is great to use it.

Conceptboard is one of our organization's go-to tools when it comes to collaboration, brainstorming, ideation, and concept writing. It has helped a lot given no on-site work yet (the company is a hybrid setup, which usually makes it hard for brainstorming sessions), as it aids during online meetings. It is especially useful for my function/department as our team, being under the company's consumer insights division, leads sessions involving these.
  • Great user interface that's very intuitive and easy to use. This is an important aspect of collaboration, brainstorming sessions often involve a lot of people coming from different functions who may not be too familiar with these tools
  • Allows users to see real-time changes and actions done by others from sticky notes/comments down to their cursor movements
  • Lets users add/attach files and annotate/comment on each directly on the board which skips the hassle of having to look at files using different programs/platforms and referencing on the board
  • Would be great if Conceptboard can add more templates and more flexibility for customization
  • Setting a larger file size limit for attachments would also be good as sometimes, files won't attach which I assume would have something to do with file size
  • Perhaps adding a group chat feature would also be useful so that users need not switch to other messaging apps while working on the board
Conceptboard is useful in collaboration, brainstorming, ideation, and concept writing. These activities are especially useful for my function under the Consumer Insights division as we do a lot of these sessions that engage several people from different departments to be able to come up with good ideas, concepts, products, and strategies. I honestly can't think of scenarios where this tool would be less appropriate.

What a fantastic concept. We used Conceptboard primarily during Lockdown. Just think of it as a Whiteboard, where ideas can be formalized. It was an absolutely brilliant starting point to create projects and share ideas in real time with the full collaboration of all our teams in various locations throughout the world. We found it easy to brainstorm and bring all the best ideas out in 1 or 2 sessions rather than in long-drawn meetings. Recommendations, decision-making, and Approvals all became quicker and easier. Tasks were also easier to delegate and everyone knew what was expected of them and the rest of the team. We'd start with new projects and then effectively place them on a whiteboard. We found numerous ideas came to the fore and there was a constant stream of them. The best thing is that those ideas were noted and absorbed immediately, giving us a great platform to develop them even more. Conceptboard is such a great springboard for this type of think tank ideas-generating approach.
  • Aggregation of data and ideas in one single pane or view
  • Agility
  • Clarity of purpose
  • Simplicity
  • Can't think of any
For brainstorming and think tank activities. For Ideas creation and generation. For sharing ideas and concepts and improving decision-making and delegating requirements. For its simplicity in helping create strong team dynamics For making it clearer for the job roles of individuals in the team and the collective responsibility of the team.

We typically use Conceptboard as an alternative to Miro for whiteboarding, brainstorming, and outlining concepts / strategy in virtual settings. The problems we address are coordinating in virtual settings, quickly documenting ideas, presenting more developed concepts to large groups, and collaborating in breakout rooms. We typically use Conceptboard in groups of 5 - 25.
  • Templating
  • Whiteboarding
  • Multiple Users
  • Integrations
  • Importing / Exporting to other applications
  • Data Visualization
Conceptboard is well-suited for beginner users who want a basic product to create / connect / map ideas in virtual group settings. Users looking to type and storyboard can use this product quickly. It is less appropriate for more advanced users who want to use this product long-term. It does not integrate well with other applications, allow to easily import media from other areas, or visualize data in the application like other products may allow.
