Overall Satisfaction with M‑Files
We used M-Files as a general backend for multiple completely custom deployments aimed at delivering value to our customers, specifically in the industrial asset management segment. M-Files supports our custom product via its advanced document search and sharing capabilities, and acts as the main database for most of the data that is being handled in our deployments.

- M-files provided simple ready to use capabilities WRT access management.
- M-Files saves time when searching for documents, beating Google Drive by orders of magnitude.
- M-Files is very easy to get started with, resulting in lower ramp-up costs for any organization.
- Industrial asset mgmt systems (SAP, etc) - benefits are enriched data and well it's just necessary.

Integrations were by and large easy to implement using a ready-made service bus component. Custom code was required, but it was simple to create and deliver without much hassle. Some API documentation improvements would be met with gratitude by the dev teams, that is for sure.
M-Files delivers best-in-class search capabilities. It simply devastates the competition when used even half-way correctly.
