Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Endpoint Central
Helps keep our systems up to date, gives us an easy way to see what software is on each system, gives us a good way to manage our inventory. Gives a lot of valuable information for assessing our environments security and give us a centralized way to push out patches to systems that are missing patches or have vulnerabilities.
Pros
- patch management
- asset management
- Mobile Device Management
- locking down systems from external devices
Cons
- better synchronize with Service Desk Plus assets (staying updated between both apps)
- remote control seems to be hit or miss at times
- issues with agent updates sometimes. the agent will just break sometimes
- better security on clients
- easier tracking of software and patching.
- easier tracking of our inventories such as monthly computer counts
- easily see when a system is offline
- bitlocker management
ManageEngine Endpoint Central is really the first software we have used here for this type of client management, but it has worked well for us and I do not see a reason to move to any other applications at this time. I would like to see Service Desk Plus and ManageEngine Endpoint Central better update between the two though.
