Real review of ManageEngine Endpoint Central
Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Endpoint Central
We use the ManageEngine Endpoint Central product to manage our computers systems. Specifically, we use it for inventory management, patch management, vulnerability assessment, OS deployment, software deployment, reporting and remote control of systems for break-fix scenarios.
Pros
- It allows security administrators to quickly assess a systems health.
- It allows help desk staff to troubleshoot systems quickly and efficiently.
- It allows systems administrators to deploy OS images very reliably.
Cons
- Something that can be improved and maybe easily would be to remember searches on agents. After selecting an agent from Agents > Computers then going back, I have to always reenter search criteria.
- When running scans or pushing configurations (patch, inventory, etc) to have the page auto-refresh itself when status changes.
- The ability to copy whole folders from a systems file manager without having to remote into it.
- ManageEngine Endpoint Central has boosted our security standing by managing windows patching by 100%
- It has reduced time for break-fix resolutions in half.
- It has reduced time of deployment of software by at least 200%
- Kaseya VSA
Kaseya although perhaps a better remote desktop solution, it lacks in usability in running reports, configurations, and patch management.
