Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine OpManager

We have been using ManageEngine OpManager in our organisation for over four years. It's a great product for monitoring our cloud infrastructure and alerting us if there are issues.

We have quite a lot of customers using our cloud infrastructure, so it's very important that we're alerted to any potential issues as soon as possible. ManageEngine OpManager does an excellent of job of doing this for us.

Pros

  • Server monitoring and alerting
  • Realtime alerting
  • Network monitoring and alerting

Cons

  • Interface seems fairly dated
  • Configuration settings are a bit disjointed
  • Difficult to find settings on occasion.
  • Improved application downtime in our cloud environment
  • Simplifies monitoring of our cloud environment
  • Very reasonably priced for the capabilities offered
  • SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor and SolarWinds Server Configuration Manager (SCM)
Compared to the Solarwinds products ManageEngine OpManager is much easier to configure and use. It's also vastly cheaper!

Something like the Solarwinds suite of applications is incredibly complicated and difficult to configure. ManageEngine OpManager is very straightforward to get up and running in a day.

ManageEngine OpManager support is also excellent, very responsive and friendly

Great product for monitoring resources in a cloud environment. Really nice easy to use dashboards and great realtime alerting.

Also good for networking monitoring, though we don't use that to the same extent as server monitoring.

Probably overkill for a small corporate network but great for a large cloud environment.
