Overall Satisfaction with MediaValet

MediaValet is our primary digital asset management system for all
marketing photography, logos, and related materials. Over the past five
years, we've enjoyed excellent service and uninterrupted access to our
assets from anywhere with access to the internet, which has been
especially helpful as some employees needed to work remotely during the
pandemic.

  • For those without experience in a DAM, the system can seem intimidating at first.
  • Transitioning assets requires time and some hands on work for onboarding
  • Creating new category folders is a bit cumbersome -- if would be nice to do that while uploading a new photo or group of photos rather that in another part of the system

I've had extensive experience using the proprietary DAM system built for General Motors to manage their image and creative assets. While a number of years have passed, MediaValet offers all of the features and more as technology has rapidly evolved with additional capabilities like image recognition. For our company, MediaValet provides exactly what we need to manage our digital assets easily and effectively.

For a company or brand with a large library of photo and design assets requiring storage with global availability, the Digital Asset Management solution that MediaValet provides is an excellent option. With so many cloud-based apps and services these days, internet access has become a standard utility for business. However, if access to files is required where internet access may not be available, a DAM system would not be a viable solution.
