Overall Satisfaction with Melio

We switched our ACH payments to Melio 2 years ago. Using Melio has allowed us to eliminate virtually ALL of our check writing. It is fast, convenient, and no more trips to the post office or purchasing stamps. We used to write approximately 300-400 checks a year. Now, we do less than 10.

Pros

  • Several payment options
  • Great app for on the go payments

Cons

  • I would like if Melio integrated with quickbooks desktop. Currently it is only QB online.
  • International wire transfers can sometimes be cumbersome
  • When searching for vendors, there are vendors listed that don’t pertain to my business
  • Much less spent on postage
  • No checks to purchase
  • Fast and easy payments
  • My vendors much prefer receiving ACH payments
  • Saved writing and mailing over 600 paper checks so far and counting
Very easy to use and navigate. Sometimes I have trouble finding the link to send to people when we are looking to receive $.

Melio is well suited for sending ACH payments. Great for eliminating 99% of checks written, and once a vendor is set up, it is very easy to send new payments. The only function that they used to have but eliminated is we used to be able to send funds for immediate transfer using a debit card at no fee, but now there is a small fee for immediate transfers using a debit card.
