Overall Satisfaction with Memsource

I usually use Memsource through my clients and I have not experienced any serious issue with the product so far. User-friendly, convenient, straightforward. Among my favourite CAT software.
  • Jumping between segments based on segment status.
  • Sharing platform.
  • Clear, essential interface with no unnecessary commands.
  • Suggest possible translations from TM during QA.
  • Performing the QA can be time-consuming because you need to reload frequently.
  • The projects overview homepage can be messy, especially when you have different pending projects for the same client.
  • Client's TMs and TBs.
  • Project management.
  • Free of charge for me as a translator.
  • It has allowed me to acquire some clients that only work with Memsource.
  • It has enlarged my pool of potential clients.
  • It is a great opportunity for me to familiarise myself with a 3rd CAT (knowing two others).
I did not select Memsource. I use it because my clients use it, but I find it very useful especially due to a friendly interface and quick jumping between segments of different statuses during translations.

Particularly helpful when you have huge files. I've always worked with TMs and TBs provided by clients, so I don't have experience creating them from scratch. But what I like the most about Memsource is that it has a user-friendly interface where you have all you need during translation.
