It was being used during live presentations. It was used in a setting to gain knowledge of the audience that use the software presented in the live session. It is a straightforward question poll to gauge who the audience are to get a feel for the group.
- It was very easy to use.
- It provides an interactive way to engage the audience.
- The poll can be customized to have all sorts of graphics to cater to a specific, targeted audience.
- It asks the audience to follow the on-screen instructions to submit their poll responses--this can be challenging for a less tech-savvy audience.
- I heard comments that some audience members had issues connecting to complete the poll, so there is room for improvement.
- The ease of putting the poll together
- How easy it is to share the poll with the audience
- They obviously have many options/features to customize the poll to suit any need
- I can see the tool can be easily adopted and scale to suit any situation to get feedback. That's a huge impact.
- Template can also be set up for companies so they can gain efficiency for repeated use.
I have used other polling/survey tools but they are less fun and boring. It was very straightforward, unlike Mentimeter, which can be very engaging and fun to "break the ice". At the end of the day, you want to gain attention from the audience so they would listen to your presentation. Having this interactive tool will help making that connection between the presenter and the audience.
