Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Dynamics GP

Rainbow uses GP to house our general ledger, track orders, and sales, and to generate smart lists for expenses/revenues across all business units. It is a key product in our day-to-day business operations, with great customization abilities.

Pros

  • Generate smart lists for tracking expenses & sales
  • User controlled accounting transactions - it does what you tell it to do

Cons

  • It would be great if it was easier to apply accrual percentages to existing JEs
  • Easier exports to Excel/other reporting tools
  • Easier integration with payroll software
  • For product revenue, our smart list drives all reporting we do, greatly increasing visibility into sales trends, etc.
Great for businesses with 50+ employees working with multiple revenue streams.
